Greek Cuisine
Greek food is a fine melody of the finest pressed olive oil, fresh fermented bread, colorful vegetables, juicy meat, sea food all cooked in spices and fresh rosemary. The people from Greek were great scholars who aimed to excel in everything they do. The results are quite visible in their food as they are the inventors of olive oil which is beneficial to health. Greeks also made different type of wines from the best quality of grapes fermented in controlled environment.
Today, you can find hundreds of restaurants offering authentic Greek food or popularly termed as Mediterranean cuisine in New York city alone. People wait in line to taste the exotic Greek dishes like saganaki, taramasalata, souvlaki, loukoumades, spanakopita, moussaka, and many more. One thing which most people like about these authentic Greek dishes is abundant use of lemon juice, olive oil, fresh rosemary and sea salt. A smart mix of few ingredients can virtually take you on the pebble streets of beautiful city of Greece.
For those who don't have time to enjoy fine dining should try tasting the famous souvlaki with pita which is type of meat dish, also a trademark Greek fast food. For those who are vegetarian, or vegan can try different versions of Greek Salad. So, if you wish to enjoy a hearty yet healthy meal that tastes divine then try dining at the best Greek restaurant in your city. Greek cuisine not only tastes good but also help maintain your body in a natural way through healthy diet.

I was recently visiting Denver, and a friend knew that I eat mostly vegetarian, so he recommended this place. I got falafel over rice, with other tasty items. I love that you get to pick and choose what you want! It was inexpensive and delicious! I really wish there was a Garbanzo Mediterranean Grill in Oregon, close to where I live!

We ordered from Garbanzos takeout / catering for a work meeting. I really liked the quick service, ease of use, and convenience. We ordered the Pita Bar for about 20 people. Our food was delivered promptly and it also came with descriptive tags for each item with allergy and ingredient information. One of the chief reasons I'm giving this a five star review is because I'm gluten free and found this to be a life saver! So many times you'll end up eating something not knowing it's treated with some type of wheat product. Everyone really liked the food and I would definitely recommend this for any office meeting.

This store is much like the rest of these places in town. I've reviewed two other locations and this location is basically the same. High marks for consistency across multiple locations. The interior is more narrow as a whole but there is seating available outside. Good service, good food, good job Garbanzo!

The staff is always friendly! the food is fresh and amazing!

I wanted soup and I think this restaurant serves pretty good soup. I had lentil and my dad had orzo and chicken. It was tasty. They give either wheat or white pita(whole) and we asked for houmous and were given 2 little containers of it and it was just perfect.

Eat here often. Great food, wonderful staff. However, place is too small for the volume. Better get here no later than 11:45am for lunch, or you will have no-where to sit to eat.

Visited Garbanzo based on my fellow yelp reviews. First impression of the place was pretty great. The server was courteous and offered me a falafel sample. I ordered the steak kabob platter. The food was unfortunately subpar. The meat was tough. The pita was much too thick and also very hard. Humus was also so so. I kick myself for not having gone to Five Guys burger next door. The food there, though different, is sooo much better than Garbanzo.

Where Mediterranean cuisine meets fast casual chain dining. At first glance, everything about Garbanzo is calculated: the pithy/funny/glib copy is overdone. The line it standard fast casual. Queue up, get greeted ("Hi!"), and get your free falafel ball. However, the subliminal messages seem to be working. I've been there four or five times without really realizing I was going there. You certainly need to find your balance of add-ins. Perhaps the best approach is to order a platter vs. the pita sandwich. This way you sample a number of sides & determine what works best together. Also, the pita bread is fresh baked at the point of service. I enjoy the falarma, their combination of falafel & either chicken or beef. I like the chicken with a few different sides, tahini sauce & the hot chili sauce on the side. If you are looking for authentic Middle Eastern cuisine, Damascus is just down the road. For a decent, quick & ready version, Garbanzo works well at a reasonable price. [Updated 30min later.] Reviewing Garbanzo made me hungry, so I dug into the Hummus bowl I brought home. Nothing left...

I came in right before close during a heavy snow, so as expected, the place was empty. Maybe it was because they were closing and just wanted to get rid of food rather than trash it, maybe it was my friend daring the kid behind the counter to do a "plate challenge," but for whatever reason, this might be the most food I have ever gotten for under $7. The baba ghanoush was great, the hummus was good, the steak sitting out was dry, so they cut some fresh meat for us, and everything else was 'meh.' The steak seemed like it had too much artifical smoke flavor, but it wasn't bad. Overall though, the value was great, and the quality was decent. I don't recommend the 'plate challenge,' though.

I like Garbanzo a lot. It is nice to be able to mix it up with something healthy every once in a while. It is typical assembly line food, but the ingredients are fresh and the line moves fast. As I like to stick with what works and seldom change things up, "don't change horses mid-race" and what not; I always get the same thing - Soup and a Half with Lemon Orzo soup. I always get the falafel filling, but the steak is good as well. If you ask for the sauce on the side they give you more and you can keep putting it on wheras if they do it for you, the bottom of the pita doesn't have any sauce on it.

The bread is just awesome! The bread is just awesome! I am just back from a lunch at this place, and the bread is fresh on my mind.I have had faux-Mediterranean from a workplace cafe before and i was not having much expectations, But one bite into that pita bread and i am in heaven. Then i added the hummus.. Oh my oh my. Then the babaganoush. I am a fan of this place now. I can have a meal with just the pita breads, hummus and babaganoush. The veggies felt fresh, the chicken just enough, not guilt-inducing. The meal feels healthy. I will surely be returning.

I seriously eat here at LEAST once a week. At this location, they aren't stingy... if you want lots of hummas... you will get it. And I always order double meat and they give me 2 giant spoonfuls. I recently got pissed off at qudoba cause I ordered double meat and he gave me a forth of a scoop more of meat and charged me 3 bux for it. I was pissed. But Garbanzos will slather the meat on and only charges under 2 bux, so it's worth it. Plus, its super healthy and diet conscience. I recently found out that I have an allergy to eggs and gluten, so I can no longer enjoy their pitas or delicious garlic sauce(it has eggs)... but they don't mind accomedating me need for lots of feta on my salad since I can't have dressing. All I can say is Garbanzos is great and WAY more afforadable then other places. Dishes are typically 6-7 bux... and with some extra meat it's closer to 9 bux which is not bad, for such god portion sizes and yummy food!

Falafel heaven. That could be the review right there, but you guys want more info, huh?...okay. When you first walk in to a Garbanzo's there's usually a line, but it goes very fast. Also, there's usually a guy handing out free falafel samples. It's like a treat just for walking through the door. yay! You order in the same style as restaurants like Chipotle or Qdoba, but it's Mediterranean food on the menu. There are choices like pitas, laffas (basically a really big tortilla) or salads. I like to get a falafel laffa because it's fun to say. Really, try it. Falafel laffa. If you've never been you should check out their menu online. They're vegetarian, vegan and gluten free friendly for those who need some yummy food, but are scared to eat out because of their food intolerances and restrictions, but if you have none of those then you'd never know the difference. They're that good. :) I would seriously go everyday if there was one close to my home.

me = fan of this place. In the vein of Illegal Pete's burritos, I can dictate what I want and see it made in front of me. The difference being that at the end, I don't have a burrito, but a stuff whole wheat pita full of hummus, falafel, chicken, lettuce, delicious sauces and a variety of other vegetables. All of a reasonable price of about 7 bucks with a drink. Get off me. I will be going back. soon.
(4)Megan N.
Love this place! You get a free sample of a Falafel while you are in line? What could be better?! The ingredients are so fresh and they use whole grains. I always get the Falafel bowl. I think you get more food than the pita and then you get a pita on the side - so you can make your own essentialy. This place is great for a quick healthy lunch or dinner and they are popping up all over! The one in the DTC gets a bit packed from time to time, but that line moves pretty quickly. Everyone is so nice and its always clean. Can't go wrong with this choice. Now i think i 'll head to Garbanzo!
(5)Ai Ling C.
The food is surprisingly good, if you're looking for generic Mediterranean. My husband was disappointed because he wanted Greek food specifically, but the food itself was delicious and I loved every bite. Special mention: I love how I got to try anything I was interested in but had absolutely no clue how it would taste. I apologize for using so many plastic spoons, but I will do my best to come back now that I know how good everything is!

I ventured over to Garbanzo Mediterranean Grill for lunch a few weeks ago for a fast and somewhat healthy lunch. The service was super friendly and the food was pretty tasty. Prior to my trip I boycotted this place because they didn't sell gyros. My boyfriend and I actually walked in saw that they didn't have gyros and turned around and walked out. I finally got the craving for some shwarma so I tried it out despite no gyros on the menu. The shwarma is certainly not the best I have had but the pitas are yummy. It is a lot of food and everything was fresh and delicious. I liked it so much I will be going back for lunch today. If you like fast Mediterranean style foods this is a great option.

Great value, great food. Healthy and filling.

I get the salad bar syndrome at this place. Too many options and the pita just isn't big enough. After several visits, I have finally found a happy mix, I think, but the first few visits were pretty big fails on my part. I really like their felafel's and their hummus is pretty good too, so that typically what I'll get, but sometimes I just can't resist a pita. My one gripe: They have pitas. They have the ability to cook meat. Why are these folks not selling gyros??? I would easily give them half my paycheck every month if they made gyros since it's super close to work. Also, fair warning, if garlic gives you a sour stomach like it does to me, steer clear. Every time I eat here, my stomach yells at me for a full day from the amount of garlic used in their food.
(4)Michel C.
Excellent falafel.. Fast food, but great, healthy choices.. Good prices
(5)Amber P.
They hand you free falafel to snack on while you stand in line...how great is that!!! (and it's the best falafel I've ever had...so much flavor!) Recommendation: Steak Falarma (steak shawarma + falafel) is a winner every time! Put rice, lettuce, and hummus on the plate. Ask for chili sauce on the rice and garlic sauce on the meat. YUM!
(4)Emily W.
My husband and I have frequented this location of Garbanzo numerous times. Our addiction was most strong when I was pregnant and we were weekly visitors. The food is very affordable, fresh and healthy. The place is always clean and the staff is very nice and friendly. They offer sample of the falafel to customers when you are in line. They do not add preservative-junk to their food. The hummus is fresh and great and the pitas are freshly made all day, as are the falafels. I love that they offer wheat pitas too, which I have been sad to find is not the case of all mediterranean restaurants like this. Unfortunately, I can also add that their desserts are quite yummy. For a very fast, healthy and fresh option, this is an absolute favorite of ours. It is pretty nice too that they also have a card you can get to earn freebies for purchases. Always a plus in my mind. Enjoy!!
(5)Brian C.
I can't believe this mediocre chain restaurant has a 4 star rating. I'm quickly loosing my faith in Yelp. The food here (or any of it's locations) is predictable (in a good way). Beyond that there's nothing to write home about. It's adequate if you want an inexpensive lunch on the run and not too bad if you're looking for healthier options. The hummus and falafel are both acceptable. The meat is relatively bland, as is the rice and toppings. If you truly enjoy ethnic cuisine this offers very little.

Another strip mall "fast casual" joint that's effective, but not memorable. It's a rather popular stop for the Tech Center denizens and, as you would expect, there isn't any atmosphere. It could just as easily be a Chipotle or deli in the same location. In fact, when you enter the place feels rather cramped. The order line is RIGHT THERE and you have about two feet to maneuver before entering it. Out front, they have about two or three tables for the obligatory "outdoor seating"...where you can sit along the sidewalk of a strip mall and watch all the action of the parking lot. But you don't come to a place like this for atmosphere. You come for some grub. In that regard, it works well. Like all these "fresh, fast casual" joints, if you pick the right ingredients you'll have a good meal. Pick something weird...and your meal will probably suck. This can be a little troublesome if you're a newbie and aren't familiar with what to include in your order. The staff isn't too helpful, either, so you may have to select by visual appeal of each ingredient (for this reason, I skipped the red cabbage, since it looked like it had been there since 8am...on Sunday). Helpful Hint: get some napkins, because it WILL get messy. I ordered a chicken schwarma pita and thought that the meat itself was simply lukewarm. It's also tough to get a full flavorful blend of your ingredients, since everything's piled on top of each other. You'll have a meat layer, a veggie layer, a rice layer, etc. By the time I got to the bottom of my pita, it was a soggy, drippy mess. Still, I'm all right with this place as a lunch-spot and will be dropping by again. It adds a little variety to the usual taco/burger/deli sandwich routine.

As far as quick-serve Mediterranean restaurants go, this place was fantastic. They give out falafels while you're standing in line and they're patient with you because they know their menu can be a little overwhelming. Their food is absolutely delicious and even though I was already full, I finished everything I had bought.

While traveling on business I checked out Yelp for a nearby place to grab a relatively healthy dinner. I stopped by Garbanzo and the place was empty, which I expected since it seems to be much more of a lunch spot. The guy behind the counter wasn't too excited to be working but I guess I wasn't really expecting great service based on some of the other reviews. I ordered a chicken plate and added just about everything, which included: lettuce, tomato/cucumber salad, hummus, pickled cabbage(?), couscous, cilantro sauce, and a piece of pita bread. Everything was tasty but would've been better if the place was busier and the food hadn't been sitting out as long. I chose the wheat pita bread which was dry but tasted aight. It wasn't all average though. The black iced tea was very good. If I was around during lunch i'd try it again, but for dinner I'll go elsewhere. I wanted to really like this place because i love Greek/Mediterranean but it just wasn't all that. Cue sad trombone music.

Went to Garbanzo on a busy day during their lunch hour rush. Totally different atmosphere than my first visit. This place was packed. Line out the door. People wanted their hummus and falafel. The guy who we first encounter was seriously just let out of the pen or just came off the street the night before. He barked at people and pushed them to make up their minds on the spot. He wasn't what I would call 'customer oriented'. As long as u knew what you wanted, he could be somewhat tolerable. The next guy on the line seems nice enough @ first, but then he tries to sell you those potato chips. I'm sure they taste great, like potato chips should, but you're already giving me a huge piece of pita -- i can only consume so much! After I turned down his chip request, he seemed truly hurt and pissed. He must make some extra dough when he sells those chips. The next person in line was normal. She didn't try to upsell me in any way. The food is awesome for the price. Fantastic really, but I don't think I can stand be upsold @ a freakin' falafel joint. They really need to think about the way they're coming across the customers. It's really pushy and annoying.

I want one in Kansas City! This simple, yet delicious Mediterranean place was like a small Chipotle as far as atmosphere is concerned. The staff was very informative about the food. We took our 14 month old boy and he can't eat dairy or meat, but the falafel, hummus and rice were great alternatives for him. Unlike other restaurants whose vegetarian options are just there regular menu items without meat, Garbanzo truly had vegetarian meal options that were really meals. I ordered the steak and falafel plate and was quite impressed with the falafel. All of the sides were fantastic, even the pickled eggplant. Very friendly, very fast and very delicious. I tweeted about wanting one of these in KC and received a reply saying one might be there sooner than I think.

The definition of 2 stars is "Meh. I've experienced better." Here's why: I went to Garbanzo when it first opened, quite a while ago. Thought it was GREAT! The food was AMAZING. My prayers for a healthy, affordable, quick meal had been answered. And then they grew. I stopped going because at lunch it seemed every time I got in there the one line they had was held up by someone ordering for their ENTIRE office. Now granted, they cannot help people who don't know how to fax ahead a large order, but they didn't seem to mind it turning away customers who only had a short time to eat rather than take the order to the side and prepare it while everyone else moved in line. I would see people walk out rather than wait. And sometimes, I was one. After months of not going, I decided to go back for dinner. After all dinner was always much slower than the lunch rush and I was in no hurry. My wife and I were the only ones there. The two people working were too busy doing their side work to bother to notice us for about 3 minutes. And then it got worse. They no longer carry the hummus bowl (my wife's dish of preference) but they were happy to make it on the plate. I ordered my usual Chicken Swarma. The wheat pita's looked, felt, and tasted like cardboard. They had just been baked! The heatlamp rice was far too hard to enjoy. And the lukewarm chicken added insult to injury. Needless to say, we choked down of our food, threw it away, and left. I have experienced better. Especially there! But if this is how they serve their food now that there is a Garbanzo every 8 blocks. No thanks!

What a great health alternative to most quick serve restaurants. Always fresh and tasty! I always introduce people to the multitude of fun flavors. Super friendly and fast service too.
(5)Carina C.
Why am I always last to know about anything? My office manager (who is a strict Vegan) bought us lunch from here. Who knew something so delicious was only a 10 min car ride away from work? My falafel was so yummy, I returned yesterday and it was still as delicious as I remembered. The cilantro sauce was muy delicioso! PS the Teas were wack...they had spearmint in them and tasted like make up. Not that I eat make up but...you get what I'm saying...people say things taste like sh*t, right?
(5)Adam W.
This is an excellent lunch spot if you work in the area or happen to work nearby. I don't have a whole lot of experience with Mediterranean food, but the food at this place tastes good to me. My usual order is a hummus bowl (a plastic bowl lined with hummus) with falafels and the steak shawarma. The bowl comes coated at the bottom with a little bit of olive oil and paprika, then you can build up with what you want from there. I usually like to get the tomato and cucumber salad mixture -- it's always been fresh in my experience. The falafels are alright (nothing compared to some of the better ones I've had in New York), but everything else is really tasty. All the sauces are good and the steak is especially impressive for a faster establishment like this one. The steak is always well seasoned and cooked medium rare so it's good and juicy. The pita you get on the side is also quite tasty -- they crank them out fresh continuously. This is definitely a place you can hit up at least once a week for lunch!
(4)Amy S.
If I could give 3 1/2 stars, that would be my preference. This place works like a Mediterranean--menu Qdoba, where the menu is limited, you order at the counter fast-food style but the food is hot and fresh and customization is welcome (plus you don't get nickel-and-dimed on extras and "upsells"). The falafel is excellent, and you'll get at least 2 samples of it while standing in line. The prices are FAR more reasonable than I expected -- hubby and I ate for about the same price we'd spend at a traditional fast food joint like BK but of course this option was much healthier and fresher. It's under $7 for a full plate of food. I have to adhere to a specific diet for the remainder of this pregnancy and basically have to eat low-carb (so no pita for me this visit). LOTS of low-carb options here at Garbanzo. Counter help was super-friendly & helpful, he even looked up their nutritional info (also avail on their website) when I asked how many carbs in the Greek vinaigrette dressing (2 per serving, in case you were wondering). Here's a run-down of what I ordered: Steak Falarma plate with: - steak shwarma - well seasoned, well-cooked, hot and tender - hummus - good texture, much blander than I make it at home, but friends and I agree I make the best hummus most people have ever tasted, so I don't have high expectations when I order hummus out. - pickled cabbage - good texture, needed more acidity or salt in my opinion, hubby agreed - tomatoes and cukes - just what it says it is, diced fine. Add some salt or olive oil if you want a little kick, or just have them put it atop your lettuce with the Greek vinaigrette on top -- that would be delish - lettuce (your basic romaine, but I absolutely adored the Greek dressing - it was zesty and peppery and delicious) - rice - not the basmati rice I would have expected, this appeared to be saffron rice. Not especially flavorful, but hey, it's rice. Whaddya expect? - babaganoush - great texture, lots of eggplant, however I prefer it to have that smoky/garlicky taste and that fell a bit short for my personal liking. After reading other yelp reviews, I would ask for a bit of garlic sauce on the side next time and add some of that to the babaganoush to season it to my taste. I added a side (at an extra cost of just 70cents) of grilled eggplant and received 2 large rounds, but I would honestly NOT order that again -- it was grilled perfectly, but served ice cold. My mistake, I just assumed it would be warm, since that's how grilled veggies have the most flavor. Hubby added feta to his plate, but said it was not a particularly strong feta (and it was crumbled very fine) and his opinion was that he couldn't really taste it much and it wasn't worth the extra calories/fat (so he recommends skipping it). Hubby ordered similar plate but was not impressed with the tabbouleh (said it needed more lemon juice or acidity) I didn't try it since it's definitely not low-carb. The pita (which we brought home for the kids) seemed fresh and soft, but we didn't actually taste them. the place was PACKED and when we got our food there were no tables available, but since I'm clearly 9 months pregnant, a very nice couple offered to share their table with us, which I greatly appreciated. If it sounds like I'm being harsh on this place, it's only because I have eaten really excellent mediterranean food elsewhere (outside of Colorado...and including IN the Mediterranean region) and so I'm extremely picky about this type of cuisine. HOWEVER I will say that for the price, the service, the healthy options and the convenience, I would most definitely recommend Garbanzo's and I will definitely eat here again. Thumbs up!
(3)Jesse K.
A Mediterranean version of Chipotle. If Chipotle is your quick and simple way to satisfy your Mexican craving, and if you enjoy Mediterranean cuisine, then consider Garbanzo's your Mediterranean Chipotle. A "quickie" of sorts. Tasty, but it leaves you wanting better Mediterranean food.
(3)Yvonne C.
Ever since I moved to Colorado, I have missed having a Daphne's nearby because I am a big fan of hummus, pita and falafel (not necessarily in that order). Lacey and I decided that we were going to meet for lunch since we both worked in the area and we both really wanted to check out this place because we had both heard some really great things about Garbanzo's. They definitely lived up to the expectations. The food was waaayyyy cheap and it was delish. The line your entire bowl with hummus, give you freshly made pita bread and the falafels are wonderful. The best part is that the menu is simple. There is absolutely no need to over think your order so it makes for efficient eating.
(4)Jen W.
I think I'm about the only person I know who doesn't care for Garbanzo's. I get roped into going here because it's close to work and my coworkers all love this place. Meh. It does the job, but it doesn't taste all that great to me. I've only ever gotten the falalfel bowl and it's just OK. I'm a little baffled that they charge extra for the pickled eggplant and vegetables in the bowl. The hummus is bland and the fallafels aren't that great. (I'm a vegetarian, so I've never tried anything except the fallafel.) The pitas aren't crispy on the outside - as I'm used to - and are just rather dry and unflavorful. I love Greek food, and this place just does not measure up.
(2)Freddie C.
LOVE THIS PLACE! Staff is Ah-Mazing! What a great change of pace from regular fast food!
(5)Karli F.
I love being on the cutting edge of the next big thing. I feel like I'm a part of the original following of the new Garbanzo crowd. It's like I get to be part of history. I can feel it. Like Lori said, "Ingenious, really!" I always get the hummus bowl with a sprinkle of paprika. No need for the olive oil. I get the Chicken Shwarma and Falafel mix called Falarma. I also LOVE their vegetable salad of cucumbers and tomatoes. I get it even though there is an upcharge for it. I also get a little rice in my bowl. I top it all off with their cilantro sauce and Mediterranean Garlic sauce. The service is always fast even if the line is out the door. They always offer a free falafel once you're in the door. I love that!! I recently decided that my mission in life is to introduce people to foods they may think they don't like. I'm so tired of people being so stuck in their box that they won't venture anywhere new or different. They think, "Middle Eastern food? No way, they probably eat weird stuff." Garbanzo's will be a fantastic jumping off point for the beginning of my personal mission. I just know this concept will blow up and then my boxed-in friends will thank me for inspiring their sad, bland palates. Way to go Garbanzo's!
(5)Jordan A.
They are a walking distance from work. I remember I went there on the day they opened--they offered free lunches. I got one (or two) items on the menu and thought they were very tasty. The place was a zoo though, so I had it in my head they'd be too hectic and confusing. It does take some getting used to, like Chipotle--at least for me. I went back there yesterday. They were running smoothly, weren't phased by my stupid questions and didn't force the ingredients down my throat--unlike other Mid-East restaurants. The pita bread was fabulous, choice wheat or white. The hummus was one of the best I've ever tasted. Now I want these folks to franchise to that I can have one up North!
(5)Frank T.
Itching for a falafel? And, not an awful falafel? How about some awfully good falafels and humus and pitas. Garbanzo has you covered. The price is right. You can get a big plate of veggies, humus, lettuce, chicken or beef shwarma, sauces, and a drink for less than $10. It is not only filling, but tasty, and soul satisfying.
(5)Lacey M.
This is a great little lunch spot, and I have Yelp to thank for finding it! It's pretty close to my work, so that's a plus. Also, the food is good, fast, and cheap...3 more must-haves for lunch. As previous reviewers mentioned, they do indeed give you a free tasting of Falafel when you walk in the door. (In my case I got 2 free tastes...1 while waiting for Yvonne, and another 1 when we walked in!) I had the hummus bowl with Falarma (Falafel and Beef Shwarma mix), which came with pita on the side. Great portion for only around $5.00!! I liked being able to decide what all I wanted in my bowl....I went with rice and a couple different sauces. I was a little disappointed that the "hot" sauce was not even remotely spicy. But all in all, everything was delicious. I will definitely be back next time I have $5 in my pocket and a hankering for Falafel!
(4)Marisa C.
Needed to eat before a concert and Garbanzo didn't let me down! I got the bowl and told the guy it was my first time and he gave me a little bit of everything. A lot of food in my opinion and the bread was warm and yummy. I was sad I couldn't save my leftovers!! Husband had the steak pita and said it was good.

This place is amazing! I'm from Cleveland but my cousin brought me here when I was visiting this past summer. 6 months later and I'm still craving it. I can't wait to go back. If ever there was a restaurant that could break my Chipotle addiction, this is it. I get a chicken shwarma pita with hummus, vegetable salad, red onion, mediterranean garlic sauce, greek vinaigrette and maybe also some lettuce and tabuleh, I can't remember anymore. But god do I remember the taste. Their hummus is great, the garlic sauce and the vinaigrette add great flavor and their fresh pita's are killer. I wish I had a pile of cash laying around cuz I'd open up a couple locations here.

If you don't know how great the food is at Garbanzo's, you need to just go there. It's fresh, healthy delicious and exotic. They even give you a falafel when you come in. What you might not know is that this particular Garbanzo's is that they are friendly and really demonstrate that they take pride in the product they put out there. I remember telling one of the young men that the falafel was delicious and he was so happy and proud of himself for making them. When a fast food type restaurant consistently gives you good service, that's a sign of a company with good values, good training and good management--to go with the great food.

I love Chipotle, but I've grown weary of ordering roughly the same ingredients mixed and remixed into the roughly the same meal. And I love Mediterranean food like falafel and shwarma, but I'm over Falafel King. And I'm always looking for the next cheap, accessible fast-ish food solution. So I was pleased and surprised to meet some friends at Garbanzo in south Denver, and to find a tasty middle eastern equivalent to the Chipotle model-- healthy, fast, delicious, affordable. You order at the counter, watching as the server assembles your meal, starting off with your choice of pita, laffa, or bowl (it's like choosing between a taco, a burrito, or a salad). I tried the chicken shwarma, but my friends liked the beef, and the falafel, and one of them even tucked into "falarma," which was a combo of the two. From there, you pick what else you want packed into your selection-- hummus, couscous, vegies, and then sauces (tahini, some relishes, hot sauces). Take your food to go, or eat it and one of the tables in a pretty tiny storefront. And, just like when you go to the various burrito dens around town, you'll probably pack more food than you can put away into your wrap or pita, and find yourself not able to eat any more, but not wanting to stop nibbling at your meal. I'm not a lover of chain restaurants (except for Ted's, which is a guilty pleasure), and I don't spend a lot of time in the suburbs. I enjoy the ethnic offerings we have in Denver, and would be happy to see more of them around town. But, that said, Garbanzo is a great concept, and I'm looking forward to seeing how the owners scale this idea into a national chain.

I love this place! The falafel is wonderful and it's all so filling! I've had a pita and the burrito like item as well and I'm stuffed when I leave. The hummus is so good and they've got great toppings for your plate. It's a great buy for the price, and the taste isn't lost because it's cheap food. I've been twice and plan on coming back many times :)

I pride myself on being a flexible eater and having a wide and diverse palate. I'm always open to trying a new restaurant, even if they have cuisine that I don't often eat. That being said, I know Middle Eastern and Mediterranean food can be delicious and healthy. I've had some great meals. But the meal that I had @ Garbanzo's just didn't take good. The best part about the meal was the flat bread. Yep, it was that bad. Ended up throwing most of my food away. The Shwarma (chicken) didn't take good and the Tahini was down right nasty. Sorry, I'm not likely to eat here again.
(2)Jenna G.
I really wasn't sure when I walked in that I would like this food but was surprised how tasty everything was. I got the chicken plate and enjoyed it very much. The only reason I give this a 4 star is because there could have been a little more meat on the plate but you do get a lot of food for your buck in my opinion.
(4)Scott V.
Garbanzo is to Mediterranean food as taco bell is to Mexican.
(2)Mister B.
Awesome spot for a quick, healthy lunch! Yup, it's Chipotle for Mediterranean food and it works really well. Even with a long line, the service is fast and friendly and the food is great. I'm definitely adding this one to my regular lunch spots!
(4)Betty B.
Very good and fresh
(3)Veronica L.
While this is fast-food style Mediterranean, it's actually pretty good. The service is always friendly and fast. I give this place four stars because for what it is, it's very enjoyable. It's a quick place for lunch so I'm not expecting gourmet food. The prices are right and I go there pretty often. Now, if you want to get me started about real Mediterranean cuisine...
(4)Tal A.
Some of the best Mediterranean food I've had since I was there. I will occasionally go there just to buy pita to take home.
(5)L S A.
At last, a Mediterranean chain of fast food restaurants! We are always greeted with a complimentary Falafel. The portions are very generous for the price and they go overboard on veggie salad. I always have leftovers, so consider splitting a meal if it's just the two of you, even the overstuffed pitas, so you can have frozen yogurt next door.
(5)Jason M.
First time here. Good food for fast med. Small inside with limited seating, so try to visit during off-hours.
(3)Claude C.
I enjoy Garbanzos shwarma plate. Plus you can always get a free filaffel when you walk in. The pricing is about the same as QDoba or Chipotle.
(3)Michael H.
Very affordable. I had the plate with all the fixings. I left stuffed for under 10 bones.
(4)Sara G.
Garbanzo's is kind of like Chipotle, but for middle eastern food. I really like their falafel - not bad at all for a chain restaurant. This is a great place to pick up a cheap, delicious lunch (I usually take it back to the office). Let's face it, their flavors aren't as great as Damascus Grill or any of the other outstanding middle eastern restaurants in town, but it's a great place to get your falafel fix and a fine opportunity to turn others to the fantastic world of falafel, hummus and shwarma.
(3)Eric D.
Ive been dying to try this place as its been very hot on yelp......i love this type of food and was ready to give it a try. We went the other day for dinner and it was awesome. First they give you a falafel as soon as you walk in the door. The falafel is really tasty. Then you can choose a bowl or pita. My buddy got a laffa that by the time they were done with it, was about the size of a chipotle burrito. I got the pita with falarma, which is a mix of falafel and chicken or beef shwarma. They you add vegies, sauces, hummus...ect. This place rocks. Also you can buy some very tasty hummus or fresh baked pitas to take home.
(4)Lauren D.
Thank You Yelpers!! This place is like the Panera or Chipotle of Mediterranean food! Finally, quick, affordable food for lunch that isn't bad for you! Very delicious way to knock out some chicken schwarma! MMMmm. Kind of a madhouse at lunchtime but the line moves fast and we managed to get a seat. AND we got a free falafel while we waited so it was hard to be pissy, hehe. Go there! Check it out, it's a nice change from all the other places in the DTC.
(4)Jack H.
Tasty. Right up there with a Chipotle Fajita Burrito. Free samples. Food - ***** (out of 5) Service - **** (out of 5) Nutrition - too afraid to ask.
(5)Stephanie L.
Garbanzo is one of my fave lunch spots- especially when they bribe me with a falafel while waiting in line! I consider it the chipotle of mediterranean food since they do it up in front of you while going through the line. The hummus is fantastic and the pitas are all fresh made. I love the chicken shwarma with the mediterranean garlic sauce. Great veg options too!
(4)Jake L.
Don't be a gyro. My first venture here, I was unsure of this type of food, but the person behind the counter made me feel welcome and knowledgeable. You start off with a free falafel, which is great. My first time, I tried the plate and put almost everything on it. It was a bit overwhelming in flavors, but the food was great. The vegetable salad is awesome, as is the falarma (meat/falafel mix). For this being somewhat fast food, it's the best place to go. If you hit it up at lunchtime during the week, be prepared for a long line.
(4)Matthew C.
Garbanzo reminds me of Falafal King, a place I frequented frequently when I worked downtown. It's a little more put-together than Falafal King, but the food is similarly tasty but not outstanding. The only option I've found for middle-eastern food in the Tech Center. Good for a quick lunch if you beat the lunch crowd.
(3)Nicole M.
Tried Garbazno for the first time yesterday after seeing their restaurants EVERYWHERE! Now I know why...it's good food! If you're looking for Greek this is a little different than what you are used to but for Mediterranean it's damn good!! First off they let you sample a falafel when you walk in the door and I'm usually not a fan as most are too dry but Garbanzo knows falafel. Not only was it moist but it had a lot of flavor and a wonderful crisp, crunchy outside. I opted for the Garbanzo Greens w/ Chicken. The chicken was very flavorful and the greens fresh. Not to mention their vegetable salad which is a mix of diced cucumber and tomato with olive oil - light and flavorful! Then you get to the fixin's and damn do they have a huge selection. It being my first time I taste tested a few and decided on the tzatziki and tahini with a little bit of their greek vinaigrette. YUMMY! Oh and I didn't even mention the BEST part...their homemade chips. OH SO TASTY and FRESH! The staff was friendly and helpful and though there were some curve balls thrown their way (the place got busy FAST and the people in line could not figure out how to order as they kept adding on everything from falafel to soup to pitas at the register rather then when asked at the beginning of the line). Food was still served fast, hot and fresh! It is without a doubt on my list to return and try something new!!! A MUST for any Mediterranean food lover. Side note: They sell their hummus and pitas in bulk for at home use.
(4)Christina W.
I was thrilled to find a casual dining middle-eastern place. Like a lot of people have said, it is a middle-eastern chipotle. The food is fantastic and for a great price! I ordered the falafel plate with the cilantro sauce. I highly recommend this. You get a pita, hummus, salads, rice, lettuce, etc included in the price of the plate.
(5)Erin J.
I like this place. A lot. As long as you aren't planning to be on close quarters with anyone the rest the day, relish in your garlic breath! The platter and bowl are good. The fact they make the bread while you watch makes me a huge fan!
(4)LaShawn R.
I have to say, I was pleasantly surprised with this place. I work nearby and had passed this place daily until a friend suggested it for one of our weekly lunches. Like others have posted, they offer you a falafel upon entering (no, their customer service isn't always the best, as evidenced by the guy's, " hey, u wanna falafel?"). The falafel was a bit heavy on the spices, giving a strong cumin flavor, or some other spice akin to that. It did have a good texture, but I opted to pass on the falafel and go for the chicken plate. I was happy with my choice. They make their pitas fresh on the spot and give you a choice between wheat and white. They were actually quite tasty. My chicken plate had hummus, tabuleh, rice, the tomato and cucumber salad, a little babaganoush, some lettuce, and some of the tahini and the chili sauce. It was all pretty good and plentiful. More than worth what they charge for it. Now, if they could just get the spice right in the falafel, I'd be a truly happy camper...

Its been a long time since I've felt challenged when ordering at a fast food restaurant. It wasn't a bad thing just fun. I was looking for a quick bite after droppong the kids with their auntie, and i didnt want quiznos, or chipotle and decided to try this one between the cricket store and one hour optical. The choices were out of the ordinary, you can't see the food until you get around the corner, so I was stuck picturing my choices, a hummus bowl with shwarma, or falafel , of both. The speed that the line was moving woth a lot of purpose driven professionals told me i better just pick fast! Or a plate, which salad rice sauces, etc. After I decided on the bowl I got jealous of the plates with yummy looking tomatoes and tabouleh. I got a hummus bowl with olive oil ( it didnt need it) and falarma; their word for shwarma and falafel. Very good, $7 and quick enough I had time to type this in on the iPhone.
(5)Steve B.
Think "Chipotle but with pitas and hummus and falafel" and you've pretty much got it. It's perfect for lunch, assuming the line isn't out the door. Highly recommended for a good, inexpensive lunch. I just wish there was more seating space.
(4)Denver G.
Fast, delicious food. This place is usually packed during the lunch hour. The employees are well trained and keep the line moving. The food is nutritious, delicious and priced right. The pita bread, falafel, gyros, steak and chicken are cooked right in front of you in the open kitchen. I like the fact that I can choose whole wheat pitas instead of the white pita. They have limited seating inside with a few tables on the patio outside as well. This place is totally value for money. They also have a rewards card which allows regulars to get free food :) Highly recommended.
(5)Marina M.
I visited this location for the first time and was not impressed; simply because I ordered portobellos on my pita and they were out. It took a good ten minutes for them to make a new batch and about a dozen people passed me in line while I waited. However, the man at the sauce station made sure that I got a fresh pita when the mushrooms were ready and asked me if there was anything I needed while I wait. He was very nice and understanding. To further my positive experience, the manager offered to buy my lunch to make up for the wait. They truly understand customer service at this location and have earned my loyalty. Keep up the good work!
(5)Aubrey G.
Super yummy and super fast. Very fresh and tasty! Had a stuffed pita and it was very satisfying. Lunch gets crazy because of location but they kept up with line perfectly. Hardly any wait at all.
(5)Sasha L.
Not too overly crazy busy during work day lunch, score! They didn't forget the falafel sample either. Generous portion sizes. I'm a fan of this location.
(4)Chad R.
I've only used these guys for catering a business meeting/lunch, but my guy that showed up was exactly what a business owner/proprietor should be. He called me to let me know that he was taking over for the closer Garbanzo's I'd originally contacted online because they were swamped. Made sure it was okay (of course), and went over my order with me quickly and efficiently. He personally delivered it-- and I could tell he was trying to earn my firm's business, which I respect-- set it up, gave me his card, and even called me back the next day to make sure it went smoothly. When I think of consummate customer service that's genuine, this man comes to mind. If my firm is catering, I'm recommending this joint first and foremost. Just totally impressive, and not taken for granted.
(5)Jessica T.
I'd probably rate this higher except the layout of this place is terrible. It is extremely cramped and you're always having to get past someone to find a table or get a drink. Definitely not the best Garbanzo location. The food here is consistent and tasty. I am guilty of always ordering the same thing: falafel pita. The falafel is crunchy on the outside and soft on the inside, though sometimes they're a little too crunchy. I like the choice of a wheat pita, and they have a nice variety of sauces and veggies as well. I'm not a fan of their hummus though; it is very acidic- I have a sensitivity to acidic food that makes my mouth hurt, which is probably why I notice, and it is pretty bland at the same time. All in all, I will likely continue to come here on occassion as the craving for falafel pita hits because it is a convenient location and I can count on the consistency of the food.
(3)Mari C.
Healthy great food! My kids rally like the kids meal. They always get the half wheat pita with homemade chips, sometimes apples. They also like the lentil and tomato soup. I like it all. I've had the mushroom pita, chicken, and tried the steak. My top two choices are the chicken and mushroom. Lots of options if you are vegitarian.
(5)Alex L.
This place reminds me of Chipotle in a fast food kind of way. Everything is tossed together and presented to you at the register. Can't say I'm a huge fan of any of their food. Their tzatziki is rather flavorless and their hot sauce will burn each taste bud on your tongue. I was starving the night I went so I ordered the steak platter. It's definitely a huge order for what you get. If it weren't for a coupon, I probably wouldn't go. I might snag a gyro next time but even Renzio's has you guys beat on taste and flavor. Getting the food TOGO definitely makes it better for some reason. The steak I got was a bit tough and rigid. Tasted like it had been sitting in the warmer for a good amount of time. That's all folks.
(3)Cindy S.
I got the Chicken Shwarma plate and loved it. I love the concept and really enjoyed trying the pickled eggplant. The hummus is great and the felafel is perfectly cooked. I mentioned that it was my first time visiting and the guy behind the counter explained everything in a very helpful and kind manner. I really did love eating here. Personally I didn't care for the baba ghanoush, it tastes like the eggplant was smoked before being pureed, other people seem to love it though, just not my thing. Also, the pita wasn't as soft as I expected but that was sort of a blessing as I didn't need to eat yet another thing on my plate! I'll definitely go back!
(4)Loveve N.
Love it love it love it....however sad that they no longer serve pickled eggplant! Went again this evening superior customer service! Manager Bryan checked on us and every other customer, he made sure the employees had what they needed. They ran out of falafel and they only had 15 minutes until close, my daughter wanted falafel and they offered to make more. I told them it was okay we will pass and they insisted on making her some! They went above and beyond and we will return!
(5)K E.
I usually love garbonzo! But I will not be going back to this location. The slowest most unorganized location I have ever been to. Must be under new management or something cause I have been coming to this location for years but this will be my last time.
(1)Janelle M.
Free falafel sample when you walk in. Yes, please! Great food, friendly workers and priced well for a lunch in Greenwood Village. I would eat here everyday if I could. My one year old loves eating here too. At times you do have to make sure you get everything you ordered because they are very busy. But isn't that everywhere you go? They always make up for any mishap with a smile.
(5)Marie T.
Love this place for a quick & healthy lunch!! Look out though, you'll get hooked on how good it is.
(5)Nancy M.
Friendly greeter, Mgr Bryan was helpful, he cleans..I was way early picking up my order, Mgr gave me a cup, so I could have a drink while I waited. Food is fun and delicious. Seating arrangement is cramped/cozy
(4)Irwin F.
This place is absolutely awesome. Great customer service - also for those of you who prefer/need Gluten Free options and those who have Celiac's Disease, you've come to the right spot....plenty of Gluten Free items including an educated staff that will change their gloves when you let them know you are Gluten Free...how cool is that...Awesome management is reflected in the caring and friendly staff... Great Job Team Garbanzo on Arapahoe Rd....DTC in the house lol
(5)Tiffany N.
Mmmmm mmmmmm mmmmmm Garbanzo! In a perfect world I would eat here every day but we don't live in a perfect world and Tiffany has a budget so this is a once in awhile splurge for me. Lucky for me, I can walk to this location since it's so close to my office however I can see how this location would suck for those who are driving. There is never any parking in this strip mall and it gets way frustrating when you're strapped for time since there are a number of other businesses surrounding it. But you know? The food is totally worth the pain of fighting some traffic. Basically what Garbanzo is a Mediterranean Chipotle. This is the perfect place for those who crave the ethnic food but don't crave the high price tag it can sometimes come with or those who are looking into venture into the world of Mediterranean food and get their feet wet. I always get the plate packed with everything-pickled eggplant, cabbage, hummus, baba ghanoush, lettuce, rice, tsaziki and more! I usually splurge and go for the steak but sometimes will get the plate topped with sauteed mushrooms which are absolutely tasty and a perfect substitution when you're wanting something substantial but don't want to eat meat. I leave happy and my belly leaves happy all for under eight bones. The best part is they have a Garbanzo Rewards card so you can earn points towards a free meal with each purchase of $6 or more!
(4)Natalie C.
Love this location- friendly staff, fresh food and always quick to get you through the line. Miss Jackson always has a smile on her face; I appreciate the employees always greeting me with such positivity. Wish more local places treated you as well as this Garbanzos does!
(5)Michael B.
Arrived at 7pm (prime dinner time), so i was expecting much better. Food was dry and room temp, as if it had been sitting there since lunch. The only good part of the meal was the mint lemonade. Otherwise, the pita, falafel and shwarma, all awful.
(1)Ray H.
Company paid take out lunch for our meeting. I had the chicken and steak Kabob platter that comes with rice, salad and pita bread. Portion is small for the cost of $10 and the kabobs are darkly burnt. For the lack of healthy restaurants in the area, I give it 4 stars. Otherwise, this is more like a 2 if located in LA.
(4)Robb L.
Great healthy choice. Good quick service. Made fresh and will make custom goodness. In a strip mall but not too bad on annoying mall foot traffic.
(5)Jessica J.
Garbanzo is quickly becoming my healthy lunch stop. When I want something with a ton of flavor that is more filling than a salad I head here. This location is super busy. It is off Arapahoe Rd in a very busy shopping center (off Yosemite). I personally like the one just a few miles down the way in the Park Meadows area because it is quieter (oddly enough), but this one has more parking and the location is a bit easier to get in and out. I personally love the plates with the pita on the side. They will load you up with a protein, veggies, rice and lots of spicy sauces. It is a very satisfying meal and it is pretty cheap for all the food you get (roughly $7). It is now in my regular rotation for my healthy lunch option! Also, it should be noted that hey have lots of items for the gluten free or dairy free or vegan lunch crowd too!
(4)Patrick S.
Its always fun to bring someone new here and let them experience the fresh food explosion at Garbanzo...I have been bringing new co-workers here for a few months and without fail, they all have enjoyed the food and even want to return! Now that the sun is shining longer and its a little warmer outside they have arranged outdoor seating to escape the hubbub during high-traffic times...its the thing to do! I will say that the only detractor is the somewhat cramped seating combined with the constant crowd during lunch time...it can get too noisey to eat inside and carry on a conversation near the front of the store. Even with that I still love it. The hummus is so creamy, the vegetable salad is amazing that all those vegetables get chopped into little cubes and the sauces are amazing! I never order them but the chips rock too...god I just want to eat an entire basket full whenever anyone else orders them to "share".
(4)Rachael S.
This place is awesome!! I wish there was a location near where I live. It's kinda like Chipotle but with Mediterranean food and soo much better! :D You get to chose between a pita, salad bowl, or wrap and then chose all yours filings. There are several different veggie options including portabello mushrooms (so yummy) and falafel. The staff are super friendly and helpful, and the service is fast. You get a good amount of food and its pretty cheap. Great place to grab a quick, healthy bite to eat, and it's so nice that they have several vegetarian options. I highly recommend this place! Especially if you are vegetarian or just looking for something healthy. I love you, Garbanzo! Please get more locations! :))
(5)Eric D.
Good, solid falafel option in Denver. Generally, very consistent from store to store. This location is especially efficient during the lunch rush. It doesn't take very long to get your food even when the line is long.
(5)Alex M.
I love the food and the staff here. I get a Stuffed Pita with everything + falafel, and occasionally eggplant. That seasonal pickled eggplant needs to be every seasonal.
(5)Meg E. G.
I work less than a mile from this strip mall of deliciousness so I frequent TCBY and Garbanzo more than a regular person. This Garbanzo is friendly and always has the regular tea brewed, sorry spearmint is disgusting I don't care what the gum gods say, it does not belong in tea. Needless to say there selection of sauces is delish tzatki and the ambre (pickled mango) are out of sight. I normally get the bowl with hummus, lettuce, babagoenoush (smoky), rice, chicken, and a falafel. It's not the best Greek food but then again when has a chain had the best of anything? Let's be real people, don't hold chains up to the same standards that you might a local establishment for authenticity. It's a guaranteed delicious and healthy lunch so I will continue to go here.
(4)Lezley L.
Looking for quick and somewhat healthy eats? This is the place to go when in a hurry but want to keep it healthy. It's like Chipotle meets the Mediterranean. The lunch platter was surpringly big and fulfilling for the price. Even the pitas and laffas were overstuffed like they do at Chipotle. Yeah it doesn't taste as authentic and would be considered "fast food" but I think the concept of it is awesome. I wish they had one where I lived! I would definitely visit this place next time I'm in Denver for work.
(3)Kent M.
I don't get it. Service people were rude. I'm out.
(2)Ambu S.
Good fast medit food for sure. I like the falafel plate, comes with a nice amount of chicken and 3 falafels. The servers are always nice and I think they even know me by now. Give it a try when you are hungry and have not much time to spare.
(4)Jen W.
One of my coworkers goes here all the time and I finally hitched a ride to see what the buzz was about. I was not very familiar with the menu so relied on his suggestions which were spot on. When you first walk in you are immediately greeted by the staff and offered a full size falafel ball - I can think of worse ways to be greeted.... It is definitely a well oiled machine and they are super fast at putting your bowls together. I went with the salad which you can build to your liking. An offer of a white or wheat pita is followed by shredded lettuce in a lovely shade of green, cabbage, veggie mix, onions along with several other offerings. I have tried both the chicken and the beef and they are both well seasoned. Top with feta cheese and tzatziki sauce (which I always mumble as I can't quite pronounce it correctly) - and you have a pretty delish bowl. There are additional, spicier sauces you can add and are free to mix them as well. (At under $7 bucks). Bonus: You are also offered a fresh potato chip halfway down the line - typically they are still warm! Drawback: Go early - as with any fast food joint in the Tech Center there will be a line out the door by noon but they are probably the fastest one I have been to so the wait is not terrible.
(4)Lynne P.
I'm a biiiig fan of Garbanzo - the quality and quantity of the food is always exactly right. My favorite part about dining at Garbanzo is the fresh falafel they give out while you decide what to order. YUM. The only thing that detracts from this particular Garbanzo for me is the fact that it's in a strip mall area and it's usually a bit tricky to find parking during the lunch hour. I know it's because everyone else wants the falafely goodness too so I do my best to be patient. Besides parking, this location is on par with the others! Deliciously so.
(3)Tiffany N.
Every time I head to the Tech Center to lunch with Sir Nicholas I try to talk him into trying a new place. Seeing how I know he has a love for falafel I suggested Garbanzo recently, knowing that he couldn't refuse me and try to talk me into Illegal Pete's yet again. At the end of the lunch we were both happy with our choice of location. To start off when you walk in they immediately give you a falafel sample so you can taste the wares. I love it. Then you have an ordering process of deciding whether you want a hummus bowl or pita with different stuff inside. I chose the hummus. Then you decide what else you want in there - beef or chicken shwarma, falafel etc. Then you can choose to add in other things like rice and various sauces. With the hummus bowl they give you a pita (either whole wheat or regular) on the side. This location is a bit on the small side for a lunch crunch. It's fairly narrow with most table seating 2 or 4 so I wouldn't go with an extremely large group unless you don't want to sit with one another. But, they get people in and out really quickly so there isn't a wait for seating too often. Plus, I thought it was pretty affordable. For our two lunches and two drinks our bill was only $14.

To tell ya the truth I just loved this place! It's hard to come by a mediterranean spot like this. You can get pitas made to order and you select exactly what you want in it. I took my food to go but my experience here was very positive. Can't wait to go again if I get the opportunity!

(5)Lynne P.
(3)Jessica J.
(5)Meg E.
(4)Alex M.
I love the food and the staff here. I get a Stuffed Pita with everything + falafel, and occasionally eggplant. That seasonal pickled eggplant needs to be every seasonal.
(5)Lezley L.
(4)Agustina P.
As far as quick-serve Mediterranean restaurants go, this place was fantastic. They give out falafels while you're standing in line and they're patient with you because they know their menu can be a little overwhelming. Their food is absolutely delicious and even though I was already full, I finished everything I had bought.
(5)jimbo c.
(2)Michelle M.
(3)Marisa C.
(5)Greg S.
No thanks!
(2)Ben D.
(5)Kevin J.
(5)Amy S.
Thumbs up!
(3)Adam W.
(4)Ramon H.
Pretty good but fairly generic.
(3)Gopal M.
Good Mediterranean food
(5)Yvonne C.

(2)Scott V.
Garbanzo is to Mediterranean food as taco bell is to Mexican.
(2)Jenna G.
I really wasn't sure when I walked in that I would like this food but was surprised how tasty everything was. I got the chicken plate and enjoyed it very much. The only reason I give this a 4 star is because there could have been a little more meat on the plate but you do get a lot of food for your buck in my opinion.
(4)Mister B.
(5)Michelle A.
I wanted soup and I think this restaurant serves pretty good soup. I had lentil and my dad had orzo and chicken. It was tasty. They give either wheat or white pita(whole) and we asked for houmous and were given 2 little containers of it and it was just perfect.
(4)L T.
Eat here often. Great food, wonderful staff. However, place is too small for the volume. Better get here no later than 11:45am for lunch, or you will have no-where to sit to eat.

(5)Chiemi N.
(4)Susan F.
(5)Christopher S.
This store is much like the rest of these places in town. I've reviewed two other locations and this location is basically the same. High marks for consistency across multiple locations. The interior is more narrow as a whole but there is seating available outside. Good service, good food, good job Garbanzo!
(4)N D.
The staff is always friendly! the food is fresh and amazing!
(5)Bob G.

(5)Ginger C.
(5)Nicholas N.
me = fan of this place.
(4)Kelly M.
(4)Kelly T.
(4)Ellen L.
Great value, great food. Healthy and filling.
(2)Kent T.
